Founded by Annika Maurer, Intercultural Connections is a youth-led initiative that fosters meaningful dialogue between people from diverse cultural backgrounds. We are committed to empowering young people through intercultural dialogue, leadership development, and collaboration.
We provide free educational resources and virtual programs that foster understanding, bridge cultural divides, and equip youth with the tools to engage in peacebuilding and sustainable development. By creating inclusive spaces for conversation and learning, we aim to inspire a generation of changemakers committed to global harmony and cooperation.
We envision a world where young people have access to resources that enable them to lead, collaborate and create a positive impact. By equipping them with the skills to navigate an interconnected world, we strive to create a future where understanding, empathy and inclusion are the foundation of global relationships. We are committed to cultivating a generation of leaders who embrace diversity, champion inclusivity and drive sustainable change.
Our mission is to create opportunities for young people, regardless of location, to engage in intercultural dialogue, leadership development and collaborative action. Through virtual spaces, we provide knowledge and skills that promote peace, inclusivity and sustainable development. By breaking barriers and challenging biases, we empower young leaders to make meaningful contributions to their communities and the world.

As the only non-native English speaker in her group, Lin embraced the challenges, transforming them into opportunities for growth and actively contributing to her team’s research efforts. Through this, she gained skills that blend both STEM and the humanities, enhanced by her experience as a two-year volunteer instructor for English 4 Skills.
Her background as a youth leader and community representative has cultivated her resilience, adaptability, and readiness to learn and share.
